Application/Leasing Process
The following items must be done to assure your lease and home for the future
1. Pick up a rental application at the Cambridge House office located in building C.
2. Fill out the rental application completely; i.e. Driver's License Number, Birth Date and Social Security Number).
3. Return the signed application and application fee of $25.00 to Cambridge House. Our application requires two previous rental references. If you do not have previous rental references, you may submit a completed cosigner application from parents living in the U.S. or other suitable party (must be a guardian). Cosigner application must be notarized and Cambridge House must have the original copy and no part of the agreement may be crossed out. If you wish to sign the lease quickly the cosigner application can be faxed and the original sent by mail. If you do not have a guardian is the U.S. we require last two months rent at lease signing in order to be approved for housing.
4. When the application is completed and you are approved Cambridge House will contact you to schedule a lease signing appointment. A $300.00 security deposit is required at lease signing please bring your check book and driver's license.
5. After you have signed the lease, the Cambridge House owner will review all materials to verify completion. The signed document will then be mailed to your permanent address. We will enclose a confirmation letter with apartment number, move-in date, and rent due date, parking permit information and many other answers.
6. We expect to fill up quickly. If you wish to guarantee an apartment you may submit a $100.00 earnest money deposit. This deposit will reserve the unit for 7 business days while you are completing necessary paper work. If you fail to lease with us the deposit is non-refundable. If you do lease with us the money will be applied to your security deposit. |
